It is God’s desire that you prosper. He takes pleasure in your prosperity and makes no apology about it. God is so committed to your prosperity that even before He created you, He designed an environment where you can prosper and placed you there - an environment of abundance and well being.
In the midst of global recession, you can prosper! Right in the middle of famine, Isaac sowed and he reaped a hundredfold. He continued to prosper until he became very prosperous. You too can prosper in recession, provided you do your part. Isaiah 1:19 says: “If you are willing and obedient you will eat the best of the land”. If you want to prosper, you must follow God’s prescription for prosperity. Are you giving out of love or out of lust? Where do you store your treasures? Are you honouring God with your finances or are you building an empire for yourself?
