Pastor Michael continued the series titled ‘Prepare to Have a Prosperous Year’ with the message ‘Programming Your Mind for A Prosperous New Year’.

Our minds are the ‘central seat of government’ for our lives, and if we are going to experience enlargement, it has to start from our minds. Proverbs 26:7 says it so well: ‘as a man thinks in his heart, so he is’.

No doubt every millisecond of each hour of the days of 2014 is already loaded with God’s goodness, but if that is going to translate into our personal experiences, we need to internalise God’s word. Our prosperity will be directly proportional to the prosperity of our minds, according to 1 John 3:2.

To experience the goodness that God has planned for us, we must be deliberate about meditating on the goodness of God. This is the way to overcome every barrier that may want to antagonise our progress. It’s a principle from Joshua 1:8 that can be summed up in these phrases – The book of the Law must not depart from your mouth, you must meditate on it day and night, and observe to do according to all that is written in it – words, mind and action.

In rounding up, Pastor Michael encouraged us to programme our minds in order to succeed, to prosper, advance and experience answers to your prayers.
