NEURODIVERSITY AWARENESS EVENT

Neurodiversity is not the same as disability. The word was originally used to describe people on the Autistic Spectrum. Now it is used to describe the natural variations in our brains like ADHD, OCD or dyslexia.
Instead of viewing these differences as obstacles, neurodiversity promotes the idea that each person is a valuable and essential part of our human diversity.

Are you confused? Would you like to learn more? Perhaps this workshop could be for you…We believe that understanding and celebrating the uniqueness of God's creation, including neurodiverse individuals, is vital to living out our faith.

Join us on Saturday, the 11th of May at Gateway House, John Wilson Street, Woolwich, SE18 6QQ where we'll explore neurodiversity from a Christian viewpoint. The session starts at 10am.

At the workshop we will learn:

Practical Inclusivity: Discover how to better connect with and make a friendly, inclusive space for those who may have neurodiverse characteristics.

Personal Stories: Hear firsthand experiences to gain some valuable insights into the dynamic world of neurodiverse individuals.

Outreach: Explore how we can extend God's love to the wider neurodiverse community, and much more.
