Foundation Scripture: Proverb 16:1, John 16:33
Sunday 11th September 2016
Our foundation scriptures, Proverbs 16:1 reads: ‘The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD (KJV).’ It is our responsibility as God’s children to prepare – God loves preparation. Those who take preparation seriously are allies of God. Since you are ready to step into your time, those breakthroughs hovering in the heavenlies, today we take delivery of them in Jesus name!
As we are in the ninth month, epitomising delivery – as we step into our time today, whatever breakthrough, favour and promotion that is hovering around our destinies, today we take delivery of them in Jesus name! Every prophecy from God to each of us is delivered by fire. Hence, this is the reason why we must be expectant, as expectation births manifestation.
Irrespective of the mishaps or the problems afflicting our lives, our time has come. Problems are common denominators of life. Irrespective of our socio-economic status in life, we all still have issues to deal with in our lives. In fact, problems are part of life. John 16:33 put it this way: ‘These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world’. I declare that from today, you become an overcomer. Since your time has come, then it is indeed time to overcome too – lack, disappointments, shame, backwardness. Those miracles that have been delayed will begin to manifest in Jesus name!
Acts 17:28 reads, ‘For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring’. Our confidence is not in mankind – uncle, aunt or the economy of the United Kingdom. Whatever problems you may be facing is temporal – today, it expires in Jesus name! Suffering is not a destination, but a passage. Where you are does not define who you are, and it does not define where you are going. I may be experiencing financial challenges today, but my situation could change like that of Joseph who became the Prime Minster of Egypt suddenly.
The Psalmist put it this way in Psalm 23:4, ‘Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me’. Let me assure you that you are also walking through your problem. It is not a permanent address for you! Receive now capacity and anointing.
In God, nothing is late. Remember the story of Lazarus who died and was buried. Jesus waited for 4 days before beginning his journey to Bethany. On arrival, he was met by Martha. Here is John 11:21, ‘Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died’. I can imagine that Jesus laughed, because He is the time. Among Jews, it is believed that if a person dies prematurely he/she could be brought back to life by an anointed miracle worker within three days. Jesus decided to prove to them that He is the God of impossibilities by delaying his trip. Hence, bear this in mind, that anything man can do is not a miracle. It is only that which God can do that we can refer to as a miracle! I declare a supernatural intervention in your life in Jesus name!
The moment Jesus cried out ‘Lazarus, come forth’, the process of decay was reversed and life was restored to Lazarus. ‘I declare restoration – finances, joy, favour in Jesus name!’ The men who bound Lazarus and placed his body in the tomb had to untie him. ‘I declare that those behind your misfortunes will become a stepping stone to your greatness in Jesus name!’
When your time is here, then it is time to pray like your life depends on it. ‘God says to us all today: ‘Let my people pray such that the results will punish the insults’. Some may say that they have no enemies – that may be partly true, as their enemies are not known to them. Many atimes our resolutions for a new year are unrealised because of some evil counter resolutions by the forces of darkness. ‘Thankfully, I am grateful that your time has come!’
Our prayers are like raw materials in the hands of God. Angels are dispatched from Heaven to fight on our behalf, till our breakthrough becomes a reality. Our prayers must be a lifestyle – a posture we adopt incessantly. When we pray ceaselessly and sincerely, we give Heaven the excuse to turn our situations around. If you have tried all and nothing seems to be working, try once more in prayer. Here is the reason why the Queen of Scotland once said: ‘I fear no man, but the prayers of John Knox’. I declare that this kind of grace is coming upon your life in Jesus name. St Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, ‘Pray without ceasing’. Jesus said further in Luke 18:1 which reads: ‘Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart’. When our time arrives, it is time to become strong, shunning laziness. Those who pray more are less prone to sin.
Psalm 102:13 reads: ‘You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favour her, Yes, the set time, has come’. The mercy in this verse goes beyond God’s pardon for our sins. God’s mercy also includes His magnanimity and kindness. When it is time for God to favour His children, everything becomes possible. Nobody exercises faith and fails. Mark 9:23 reads: ‘Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
We all have a refrigerator in Heaven, where God keeps our bottles of prayers and tears. Psalm 56:8 reads thus: ‘You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?’ I declare upon you the Spirit from on High of divine speed, multiplication and God’s favour in Jesus name!
Mark 10:46-52 records the story of blind Bartimaeus. It reads: ‘Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Conversely, Jesus is around us. If like Bartimaeus, he does not give you audience, then you reach out to him in your prayers.
I declare that you will not be left empty handed. Receive your miracle and your breakthrough, today in Jesus name! It is your time and season to break forth. Indeed, your time has come!
